Darian... not quite a teenager

We have a rule in our house that as soon as you turn 12 years old, you are too old for sleep-overs. So, as it inevitably happens, a friend is over on Friday night and asks one of our kids to spend the night at their house. This time it was Darian's friend that asked.

I told him that he couldn't spend the night, but he could go over and play until midnight.

Darian response? "ahh, I can't stay awake that long."

Mom "Okay, then be home by 10:00"

Darian "Yeah, all right!! Thanks Mom."

You gotta love that kid.
