I'm learning how to digital scrapbook. The theory being that more gets done in less time than traditional scrapbooking. I think I am actually taking as much time or more per page, but it is easier, and I can do things that I can't do with just a pen and scissors etc. I'll still use my old fashioned scrapbook supplies, because sometimes you just need to use your hands and bare creativity, and feel the papers, and snaps and pens and buttons.... Especially after a long hard day!

Father's Day

We had a hard time (as always) picking out a great fathers day gift. The kids found an accordian folding set of 5 picture frames. It was desk size with one frame for each kid. They thought it was great, so we got it. Then came the hard part, finding pictures of each one. Thanks to people at scout camps, and Father & Sons outings I came up with these pictures.
The gift was a hit! Allen loved it. We felt that these pictures showed some of the personality in our boys, rather than just how cute they are. (but they are awfully cute, aren't they)
The picture of Ethan, is him standing at the top of a rather huge rock/mountain at Fathers and Sons campout. I was a bit surprised when I first saw this picture on the bulletin board at church!! It made me grateful that they made it home in one piece.
